BIPOC Therapy

Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Interpersonal Connection

You don’t have to carry it all alone. We create a space where everyone in the BIPOC community can feel seen, affirmed, and supported without judgment. Here, you can safely unpack the weight of generational expectations, racial trauma, and emotional silence—restoring a sense of secure belonging within yourself and your relationships.

Children

For children 12 and younger, we take a family-oriented approach to help children regulate their emotions and create change in their behavior. The best way to help a child grow and change is helping the whole family together. We may meet with the whole family, parent and child, parents only, child only, and/or another combination to help the child make the most progress. Laura is our child therapist and utilizes Emotionally Focused Family Therapy to reduce conflict and strengthen family bonds

I know that reaching out for therapy can feel like a mix of hope and fear—especially when you’ve carried so much for so long. Maybe you’re used to holding it all together, or maybe you’re tired of feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Whatever you’re bringing into the room, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Healing is possible, not because you’re broken, but because you’re human—and connection, safety, and growth are part of what you were always meant to have.
